The big ‘O’ after a c section

How soon after a section is it ok to have an orgasm?

I was never actually told by any doctor/midwife/health visitor to avoid sex for 6 weeks but that seems to be the general advise online. Yet I can’t find anything which advises against an orgasm 😬

Any time you want. A c section leaves all the lady bits unaffected by childbirth, so 2-3 weeks for the scar to heal and become comfortable is just fine. An orgasm doesnt affect anything

I would say when you're not in pain from day to day activity. Or whenever you're ready.

You may get period type pains after as the womb contracts etc. I still do occasionally after 9 years.
