Ok so I am a little confused.....

I came of contraception June as I could not find one that agreed with me and wanted to use natural cycles to regulate my body in prep to try 1-2 years . My periods were all over the place and usually 40-48 days apart. Varying lengths and heaviness.

Last full period start date: 30th September
2 day spotting: 13th November

Visited the doctors with worries over potential pcos (already have tyroid issues) and I was booked ultrasound and internal scan.

Last DTD: Around 28/29th Nov
Internal scan: 16th Dec

Nothing was said at my scan (not in the UK btw) she said my lining looked thicked so was likely due period soon. Asked if I was trying but nothing more. Booked into docs with my female doctor 7th jan to go through results.

I had a further 2 days spotting last week after my scan.

Took two test yesterday as just did not feel right and both positive. The clear blue date prediction says 3+ weeks. Now I am just confused. Would this have not been picked up on the scan? Does it mean something's potenitally wrong? I can't get into the doctors now till Wednesday due to holidays and I am in a panic and feel sick with worry. Any advise?

Forgot to mention I took a test after the first lot spotting which was negative (towards end of November)

Not necessarily as at time of scan you might have just been pregnant, nothing really shows on a scan until 5-6 weeks along which 3+ puts you at around 5 weeks now, so if they did a scan now they may see something but not over 10 days ago

Oh that's a relief then potentially . I did try and google and it said wall thickening can be early pregnancy sign and not period. Being early would be better for us with more time to prepare but what happens happens :) I am hoping I may get an early scan due to my health issues but not sure how the system really works here but my friend got an early with the same autoimmune disease as me.
