Line on Clearblue test going opposite way?

Hi all,

I'm hoping some of you ladies can help - my husband and I are TTC, and I've just taken a pregnancy test six days before my period. The result appears to be positive, but the line is running the opposite way (photo attached) - has anyone else experienced this before?

How weird. Look like the old style that had a positive plus sign. Have you any others?

I think you need to do another test, that's not clear either way

Thanks ladies - I don't have another test, unfortunately, and we're a bit nervous about leaving the house given the COVID situation (we're being extra cautious given my possible pregnancy). I've ordered another test (different brand) that should arrive on Monday - hoping that result will be clear.

That test is invalid.

Please contact clear blue if the test appears to be faulty. I had an issue with one of mine and they sent out a brand new pack free of charge which arrived within a couple of days. Don’t let yourself get out of pocket x

That's what happens with the clear blue tests. That line going across appears anyway , so if you were pregnant the line would appear regardless- ive found these off google to show you so you don't need to be worried about using clear blue again

I had this a couple of months ago - it was negative and AF started a couple of days later. Hope it isn’t the same story for you x

@jewelsx they are different tests to the one OP has used. I have seen a few posts recently where people have experienced this but can’t remember the outcome. Fingers crossed OP

Pink dye is usually more accurate. I had no end of problems with clear blue and googling I saw that I wasn’t alone. First response from Amazon should be with you the next day.
