I have this first appointment on the 30th. Will I get my yellow notes then as I've not got this far before. Thank you

You should do, is it a face to face appointment? Although I do know that some Trusts are doing everything on an app now so may depend on your area.

It must depend on your area. I don't even know what yellow notes are.

If you mean your green notes, then probably not, the midwife will start them and then they get sent to the hospital and you get given them after your 12 weeks scan

In my area you don’t get paper notes any more - it was all online with my last one (and he’s nearly 4!)

I was given my notes at my first appointment (8 weeks) it was face to face. Lots of questions about family history, blood tests urine dip, weight and BP. I'm east anglia so I guess it depends where you live

App where I am. Given details to log on from first appointment.

Maternity notes/book I mean. My sister in law has hers but I can't ask her when she got hers yet as she will get suspicious, so our town clearly are still doing the paper version. Was just wondering if this is when you received them. I know its a 90 minute appointment. I've to go in for bloods etc then go home and she will call me for our history etc due to covid we can't do it all face to face

I received mine on that first appt, my midwife went through the surveys that are inside the notes and did all the ticking and questionnaries about medical history, fathers details etc

Sanch1 · 26/12/2020 21:50

If you're going in for bloods then will get a call you won't get them as they fill loads of stuff in in the notes when they talk to you. They may post them to you or you may pick them up at your dating scan.

My midwife starting writing my notes at my first appointment.

I was given my notes to take home at my 16 week appointment.
