Started a lot sooner this time than it did with my first pregnancy. This is the second night in a row that I woke up at 2am and can't go back to sleep!!! I'm so tired but I just can't sleep Sad does anyone have any tips and tricks to help me get at least a little bit more sleep or somehow overcome this?

No tips but wanted to say Hi, as you're not the only one! How many weeks are you? I'm now 24 wks but I had it right at the start for a couple of weeks but I think that was the excitement of finding out! I'm making it through to around 3-5am before I give in and get up so not as bad as yours.

@Apricotta Hi, thank you for replying to me! I'm only 16 weeks so managed to do quite well so far but I'm sure I didn't get insomnia until I was in my third trimester with my previous pregnancy so was a bit shocked when I woke up at 2am last night 😳. It's so annoying isn't it? There's nothing to do and all you want to do is go back to sleep but can't! Hope it gets better for us both soon!!

Harry Potter audiobooks narrated by Stephen Fry - they are so relaxing! Even if you don't properly fall asleep, try to get some rest lying down with your eyes closed and maybe you'll doze off.

15 weeks and suffering the same. I’ve no tips really. I find if I get up and move to the sofa, pop on Greys Anatomy and just try to forget that I’m trying to sleep, I often doze off again. It is exhausting though 😩
