Am I pregnant??

I have missed my period this month which has never happened before in my life. I took a test last night. 15 minutes later a very faint line appeared. It's now the next day and it's a very strong positive line. What does everyone think?

Do you want to be pregnant?
You normally have to read the test with x amount of minutes and dispose of it after x amount. (As they are then inaccurate and you get evaporation lines which look like positives)
It’s rare to get a positive faint or not within the test time that is inaccurate.
Test again first thing in the morning and follow the instructions to be sure. Fingers crossed it’s the answer you want!

It could be an evap line. You shouldn't wait 15 mins to check the test and follow the instructions instead.

I would test again. The lines on this test look odd. Like a bit too patchy if that makes sense. And the results came after the stated time.

Thank you for your replies. I'm only 19 years old so if I am pregnant it would be completely unexpected. I still haven't started my period and was meant to start my pill yesterday.

Did you take another test? The best ones to do are pink dye ones, on blue dye ones you can get a stronger evap line which might look like a positive especially if you look after a while.

No I haven't yet, I'm leaving it a few days to see if my period will come. I will buy the pink dye tests next time and try again in the morning. Thanks everyone for your replies

The line should appear almost immediately. Try testing again. Don't wait 15 mins to read your test
