I arched my back in bed to put a cushion under my back but was instead faced with a sharp pain in my right lower abdomen. Since then the pain has gone but I can feel the after effects of the pain, should I be worried, I'm 11 weeks pregnant, do you think I've caused some damage or will the baby be ok?

It's fine. You might have pulled a muscle but the baby is small and very well protected.

@Qasidy Could be round ligament pain! I had it a lot in early pregnancy, often when I made a sudden movement like stretching up to reach something or turning over in bed etc. Feels like a ripping pain in the lower right or left side of your abdomen- really fucking sore but totally normal and harmless. Good luck with your pregnancy!

Probably round ligament pain. Things like sneezing become quite painful in pregnancy too. You can't hurt your baby by moving your own body in a normal way.

Round ligaments, they're arseholes but brief!

As the others said, it's all your muscles and ligaments adjusting to your new shape so they are getting a bit tight and sometimes when you move suddenly it can ping them.
