St Mary's Hospital in London?

Any experiences?

I had my first at UCLH and the care was good but it was just so overcrowded that there wasn't enough of it. Ie. I was left in the waiting room for over 5 hours after they'd told us to come in, there were no doctors or space on the ward so I wasn't monitored even though I had GD, etc.

I've checked CQC ratings and UCLH is rated Requires Improvement and St Mary's is Outstanding.

But I've never been and don't know anyone who's had their baby there...

What postcode are you?

I haven't had a baby yet. I'm a due to give birth at Queen Charlotte's. I met a local mum to be recently who is at St Mary's - she's nervous of hospitals and said she found St Mary's a bit hectic? Medically though it has a good reputation and is a sister hospital with QC's.
