Brown discharge

Here we go again.....worrying so much right now. When I go for a wee and wipe I have brown (old blood I'm guessing)
It's not bad and only when I wipe. I'm scared this is the start of things ending again. I'm 8 weeks 4 today :( I'm due to the midwife on 30th but so scared right now.
Currently awaiting gp calling back for referral to epu

So sorry you're experiencing this @FirstTimeScared, just wanted to send you some love and I hope that everything works out for you!! I had some spotting when I wiped at around 7 weeks, then again at 10 weeks and I'm now 29 weeks pregnant so it can sometimes be for no reason

It's very common, try not to worry. I had it at 9 weeks and all went well with my pregnancy.

I had the same as @HungryHippo20. I’m now 18 weeks. No reason behind the old blood! Please try not to worry . Let us know how you get on with the epu xxxx

I had that around the 9 week stage. It was there when I wiped a few times and that was it. Spent all night worrying and convinced I was miscarrying, but it was fine, so please don't panic. Easier said than done, I know, but don't assume the worst.

One theory is that it's as a result of cervical changes, another theory is that it's the embryo shuffling around which dislodges old blood.

Keep an eye on it and hopefully it'll clear up soon and all will be ok.

I've got wpu in an hour. Had to come home and retest and take this to my appointment.
The brown discharge had stopped last night but was back today. Again only when I wipe. I wore a pad and nothing on it. I am hoping for it just being settling in discharge.
I retested and got a strong positive before the test even reached the control line so im praying 🙏🤞

Just come out hospital. baby is OK and alive. Saw heartbeating. I'm measuring 7 weeks 5 days 😍 I just cried my eyes out xxx no apparent reason for the brown apart from could be my body changing and baby moving. I've been told to relax and take it easy xxx

Oh gosh I'm experiencing this right now and epically fretting, think I'm only around 6/7 weeks. Not had any contact with any midwife etc yet
