I can't remember the rules exactly but I know when I was having my first we got new carpets and I stayed at a friends' because the fumes weren't safe.

I think it's fine as long as it's fully aired out.

We've just had carpets fitted and didn't know the adhesive fumes were unsafe

Are they definitely using adhesive? Gripper rods should be enough, it doesn't need to be glued down

@Gooseygoosey12345 they were spraying something down on the floor so I know it was something to do with a carpet adhesive

I will be staying at my mums for a few days so I should be okay but while they were doing putting it down I was there so a bit worried the windows was open and still is to be aired out a bit

Ah sorry, I thought they hadn’t done it yet. Just air it out, and stay out of there as much as you can. I can’t imagine that it’s super harmful as it’s designed to be used in domestic settings
