No heartbeat 7 weeks

I've just been for an early scan. From LMP I'm 7 weeks today but at the scan they said I am measuring 7+4 which I'm not surprised about because I ovulated early. Unfortunately they couldn't detect a heartbeat. I know it's over but what I can't fathom is that I'm measuring 7+4. It seems a huge coincidence that the heart would have stopped today which I think is what must have happened to be measuring so far along. She also had to do an internal scan because she said my womb is tilted, wondering if that has anything to do with it. I have an appointment at the epu tomorrow but wondering if anyone has any advice to keep me sane until then. I know it's over, I just can't get my head around measuring 7+4

Oh you poor thing, I'm really sorry this has happened to you it is all so awful. It doesn't seem to make sense, does it? A lot of pregnancies will go wrong around this time so I suspect it is just an awful coincidence. It could be you were even a few days further on than you thought, I wouldn't torture yourself by trying to work out exactly when things stopped. Do you have support in RL?

@ItsIgginningtolookalotlikeXmas thank you. And you're right, there's no point agonising over the dates. Yes, I have a wonderful partner and I'd told my best friend so lots of support. I just want it to be over now so I can move on x

It takes time, and you need to be kind to yourself. I did have successful pregnancies, but I will never forget my miscarriages - doesn't hurt on a daily basis anymore though, it does fade.
