6 months full pay, 3 months stat, 3 months unpaid

harrietm1987 · 21/12/2020 15:34

@igotosleep

6 months full pay, 3 months stat, 3 months unpaid
Same
larrythelizard · 21/12/2020 15:38

4.5 months full pay, 2.5 months half pay then stat for the remainder of the year.

larrythelizard · 21/12/2020 15:39

Oh, and I think they pay in to my pension at full pay levels

Lazypuppy · 21/12/2020 15:40

6 months full pay, 3 months SMP, 3 months unpaid.

One of the reasons i got a job there a couple of years before i wanted to TTC.

PlanBea · 21/12/2020 15:41

8 weeks full pay, 18 weeks half pay plus SMP, 13 weeks SMP, if I was eligible. I'm just on SMP (6 weeks 90%, 33 weeks SMP). I'm NHS.

Megan2018 · 21/12/2020 15:43

6 weeks full inc SMP, 12 weeks half plus SMP, then 13 weeks SMP.

Santatizer · 21/12/2020 15:43

Wow. I get 4 weeks full pay, 2 weeks 90%, weeks 7-18 half and 18-39 SMP! You guys have great policies there. Jealous.

Darcy86 · 21/12/2020 15:43

We get 3 months full pay on top of SMP, 3 months half pay plus SMP, then 3 months standard SMP.

Rightthen24 · 21/12/2020 15:44

6 montha full pay, 3 months smp, 3 months unpaid. Full pension is paid also.

Mamagotskills · 21/12/2020 15:46

Mat leave 1- SMP only (I had been there 3 years that was just their policy)
Mat leave 2 - 6 weeks 90%, 6-26wks 50% then one month salary as a ‘golden welcome back’

MonkeyPuddle · 21/12/2020 15:47

Statutory minimum, so 90% salary for 6 weeks, then SMP. But they do pay my pension (an NHS one) at the same level as when I was working. So that’s good.

Scottishskifun · 21/12/2020 15:51

Yep full pay 6 months and pension contributions then 3 months SMP and 3 months zero (no pension contributions) I moved to the public sector a few years ago. My last job was the govt basic.

luxxlisbon · 21/12/2020 15:52

The bare minimum! 90% for six week, statutory then unpaid for 3 months.

MaverickDanger · 21/12/2020 15:53

3 months full, 6 months half, 3 months SMP.

I’ve also saved up enough to basically bring my salary in line to a year of full-time pay. What I don’t spend of that will go towards my other childcare savings pot.

Riggles78 · 21/12/2020 15:54

13 weeks full pay, 13 weeks 50% plus SMP, 13 weeks SMP only then remainder unpaid.

Backbee · 21/12/2020 15:55

6 months full pay, 3 months stat, 3 months unpaid

Same.

HipHipHooray7 · 21/12/2020 16:13

6 months full pay, 3 months half pay and 3 months unpaid. My DH also gets 6 months full pay anytime within the first year so thankfully won't need childcare for a year.

PinkSpring · 21/12/2020 16:14

Six months full pay, three months SMP, three months unpaid

Hobgoblinz · 21/12/2020 16:15

Blimey I had no idea it was so common to get so much!

I just get the statutory, so 90% for 6 weeks, then statutory c.£150 per week, then last 3 months unpaid.

UncleBunclesHouse · 21/12/2020 16:17

Also 6 months full pay, 3 months smp, 3 months unpaid. You can scale your pension contributions down if you like too plus other optional benefits.

Mimiwish · 21/12/2020 16:20

Wow - some of you have some great maternity policies at your work! Another one here with 3 months at full pay, 3 months half pay, and then stat.

Pumpertrumper · 21/12/2020 16:25

6 months full, 3 months stat, 3 months unpaid.

DH takes a few weeks SPL at full pay to extend his paternity leave though so I don’t take the full 3 months unpaid. More like 6 weeks unpaid x

seven201 · 21/12/2020 16:29

This is what teachers get (if you've worked there long enough): Occupational maternity pay is also paid for a continuous period of up to 33 weeks. For the first four weeks, you will be paid at 100 per cent of salary. Weeks 5 - 6 are paid at 90 per cent of salary, and weeks 7 - 18 at 50 per cent of salary plus the standard Statutory Maternity Pay rate of £139.58 per week. The remaining 21 weeks are paid at the standard Statutory Maternity Pay rate.

37TTCLeeds · 21/12/2020 16:37

6 weeks full, 33 weeks half pay plus SMP then nothing but they continue to pay my pension contributions so I don't have a gap in pensionable service and I get to keep my monthly car allowance.
