I remember barely being able to keep my eyes open in early pregnancy, but I'm 32 weeks now and it's back with a vengeance.

From about a hour after I wake up until I crawl into bed at 9pm I'm exhausted. Feel like I'm walking through mud.

Then from 11pm onwards (after my first pee stop) I struggle to get back to sleep! Past few nights I've been awake until 3/4 in the morning.

Even on the nights I get lucky and sleep through I'm still tired the next day.

Anyone else want to come and join me in a good moan today?

@RachShad

How has your pregnancy been? I'm in First trimester really finding it hard!! Nausea and extreme tiredness. Is 2nd any better? Your nearly there now not long for you to go!! Hope tomorrow is better for you x
First trimester was horrific with bleeding, heartburn, Indigestion, exhaustion, nausea and unbelievable mood swings. I really struggled for until about 15 weeks actually.

Second trimester was great aside from Indigestion at night after dinner.

Third trimester is slowly morphing into my first, all my symptoms are creeping back in alongside insomnia and aches/pains of a growing belly.

It's my 2nd baby, and it's nothing like my 1st 😂 if my 1st was like this I don't think I'd be having a 2nd!

I am 24 weeks with DC3 and have had this issue since the beginning! I had to keep complaining about it to the midwives and the gp (as was signed off work and completely useless and knew it wasn’t normal) and eventually the gp ordered a blood test for my B12. Turns out this isn’t part of the routine bloods (I kept being told my iron levels were normal too). B12 was incredibly low- queue consultant getting involved with the gp and me having 6 B12 injections every other day for two weeks!

Just had my last one and feeling so much better. Worth asking for if you are feeling so exhausted, I really had to push for it as they will tell you it’s normal in pregnancy.

Same here just over 8 weeks, very nauseous and very tired. Went to bed at 9pm last night as couldn’t keep my eyes open and still knackered.

Preach! 🙌 am currently 8 weeks with my second (1st is 6 months old) and I'm dying! I had it rough the first time but everyone said 'oh the second time is easier'. I'm calling bt!
I just want to sleep and not feel sick 😭

I’ve found my people! I’m 29 weeks with second baby. My DD is 6 so pretty independent in terms of being able to get herself dressed, go to the loo, get herself an easy snack etc, not the same as a toddler, but she’s very excited about Christmas, bouncing around everywhere “Mum look at this, mum, mum” Grin I just want to lie down in a dark quiet room.... Ahh but no, that doesn’t actually bring and relief because when I lie down, the heartburn/acid reflux gets me!! At least if my baby has acid reflux I’ll be able to sympathise Grin
I’m a teacher, so on Christmas holidays now- phew! But I am dreading going back in January- I’ll be 31 weeks, up to 37 weeks to start maternity leave at February half term. Honestly don’t I he how I’m going to do it 😴😴😴

Sorry for typos Confused obviously too exhausted to type properly Grin

Just to make sure I’ve taken my exhaustion to the next level, I could hardly sleep at all last night because I have rotator cuff tendonitis in my shoulder. I am determined to have a better day today though, so I’m off for a very long walk (with very small steps because of the spd 🙄😂) while my husband looks after the kids. Am hoping some fresh air either makes me feel better, or makes me sleepy enough for a nap 😂 Having had a relatively good second trimester, the third is starting to kick my arse already and I’m only 29 weeks (tomorrow).

P.s. kudos to everyone still having to go to work whilst this tired. I work from home so (when the kids aren’t here) I can schedule in the odd nap when I need it. I don’t know how you ladies are doing it!

I was glad we finished up a few days early. I was honestly struggling so bad. I was dealing with migraines due to the mask and visor combo we have to wear.
