Postpartum bleeding restarting

Anyone had this, should I worry? I bled for 6 weeks after giving birth, (normal vaginal delivery) was really light towards the end, nothing for two weeks and now I’m nearly 8 weeks postpartum it’s started again, bright red, anyone else had it restart like this? I have been finding I’m quite constipated and a few hours before the bleeding restarted I did strain/push really quite hard on the toilet...(sorry tmi) so wondering if this could have had anything to do with it?
I really don’t think it’s my period restarting as I am exclusively breastfeeding and periods didn’t restart again until nearly 12 months after having my first 2 children. I’m just worrying slightly as not sure if it’s normal

I bled for 11 weeks after giving birth, some days there would be nothing then the next day it would start again. I started taking my contraceptive pill and 14 weeks later my periods have regulated again. Doctor said it could just take longer for your body to get back to normal. Hope this helps. X

Hi @gg321, hopefully you will see this, what was the outcome with your bleeding? I'm experiencing the exact same now. With my other baby I didn't have any periods for 12 months due to breastfeeding :(
