Hi all,
I'm sitting here after 5 months TTC with my first ever positives! In shock! What do I do now?? Do I keep testing? Call the doctor? All very exciting!

Congratulations ! All trusts are different. Some
You have to self refer to the maternity team via the Hospital. Some you have to go through the GP. Give your GP a call tomorrow and find out the process. You’ll then have a ‘booking in’ appointment with a midwife at around 8-10 weeks including blood tests, then your first scan and screening (if you chose to have this) at around 12w x

Oh and I would advise against testing anymore. It can make people a bit anxious if they feel lines are getting darker etc.

You have a definite positive ! You don’t need to confirm it any more x

Congratulations! You don't have to do anything for now, no need to keep testing, and as mentioned each area differs but usually you'd just need to call gp or self refer hospital in a few weeks.

Thanks all! Sunk in a little bit more now! Managed to do a bit of research and have now emailed for my booking appointment!
