We're staying home and not seeing anyone indoors. We plan to meet our parents in a park to swap gifts just to make sure we at least see them over the period.

Personally me & OH aren't seeing people , we'd rather play it safe & see people when baby is born in February
When we exchange gifts , we're standing outside to do so

OH doesn't have much of a immune system neither due to suffering cancer last year.

I think peoples choices will depend on tiers & how safe it is

We’re seeing family as normal for dinner. We plan on totally not seeing people from when my maternity leave starts mid Jan.

We are seeing my in laws as they live very close (same street!) and are our childcare bubble so our ds is mixing with them anyway. I'm 35w with twins on Xmas day and got a section booked for 36+3 so we will be isolating after that.

We have close family coming over for xmas day (rules allow that in my area). We are all WFH / older family members are retired so whilst no-one has been self isolating I think as a group we are at low-ish risk of having it (not that I want to get complacent about it). DP has done done last minute Xmas shopping which I wish he had done earlier but nevermind, we still need to go to supermarket anyway. From boxing day we'll be in lock-down so good opportunity to reduce contacts further before the birth, just in case. We're not planning to self-isolate entirely though.

I'm being induced on 28th, we're seeing people indoors on Christmas Day, parents in law and sister in law, but no one else now, and no plans to need to go to shops or anywhere like that.

I'll be 32 weeks with twins. I'm seeing parents xmas day. But they live in an area where they have been piloting mass testing so are getting tested tomorrow and then isolating before coming to ours

Thegirlhasnoname · 21/12/2020 09:57

I’ll be 33+1 on Christmas Day and just doing Christmas at home with the household (so Me, DH and 2 year old DD). That was our plan before the recent shake up in plans announced by Boris.

In a tier 3 area so will go somewhere outside to exchange gifts

We will be seeing all our parents and step parents.

Currently they do childcare for us, door drop off etc. When we hit tier 4 on boxing day (Scotland) that will stop so there will be no contact at all, and I don't suspect it'll be back to normal until after baby is here so Christmas is our last chance to see everyone.

Safety precautions will be taken on Christmas, no physical contact and hand washing etc.

I'll be 33 weeks.
