Hey ladies

11+2 today and recently finished a course of antibiotics for a UTI which of course has now given me thrush.... (oh the joys!)

Am I okay to use the canesten cream and pessary? I did text my midwife but had no response. Thanks xx

I don't know the answer but surely the box/packaging would clarify if it was safe for use during pregnancy?

You can use the cream and pessary but not the oral tablet

Hope that helps xx

This has been the advice from my doctor too.

They also a suggested inserting the pessary with your finger instead of the applicator if you were worried about it.

Thank you for your comments!

Yeah the box said safe for pregnancy but on the NHS website it says speak to your midwife or doctor xx
