I have my first appointment booked with midwife at 11 weeks 1 day and a blood test will be done at this appointment too, when looking on the NHS website it says some screening should be done by 10 weeks?

Does this only apply for first babies ?

Thanks!

Screening blood tests can be done between 10w - 14w and are normally done the same day as your scan. This blood test is probably your initial blood test where they do full blood count, check for things like HIV/Hepatitis etc
