White clumpy discharge after sweep??

I had a sweep today at 38 weeks about 1.30.
Midwife could touch the head and sweep was successful cervix open.
Since I've been very wet down below but with a thick, white, clumpy and bitty discharge.
Is this normal?
It's cottage cheesey almost thrush like. Sorry for the TMI. And thanks in advance.

It probably is thrush. I would treat yourself for this, you can get medication over the counter.

I definitely do not think it's thrush.
I was swabbed last week for everything (strep B previous pregnancy) and I have no symptoms of thrush at all bar the new discharge.
This has come out the past hour or two since the sweep with blobs of mucus.

I'm a midwife. We can often find this type of discharge higher up near the cervix, or see it when doing a speculum or it's on the fingers after doing a sweep. If the actual discharge wasn't swabbed when you had your swab it's easily missed. You've nothing to lose treating yourself in case, but obviously it's up to you.
