Going insane

I’m officially going insane!!

Three days ago I took an early FR test and got a faint positive. It was a very faint pink line and the next morning tested with FR again and one showed nothing and another an even (almost couldn’t see it) line.
Since then, I’ve continued to have negatives on digital and early CB tests.
I’m 7DPO (also, I ovulated for four days which only stopped showing the positive smiling face three days ago) and my Flo app says I’m due on next Tuesday.
Am I going mad? Why the positive and now negatives?
I know I should wait and not test anymore, but we’ve been trying for so long. Miscarried twins in September and the process is driving me insane. It’s all I think about, it’s horrible.
Could this have been a false positive?
I’ve been having pulling cramps and extremely tired (even passed out on the sofa yesterday afternoon).
Has this happened to anyone else?
Thanks so much 🙂

I mean this in the nicest possible way... please put the tests down and stop testing. It is very unlikely that you would test positive at 4dpo, and even at 7dpo, most implantations happen between 6 and 12 dpo, so a test wouldn't show positive until maybe 10dpo and I think then it would still be faint.
I am not sure if the test you had was a false positive or an evap but you'll be best to wait until next week to retest. I would wait until 14dpo or the day of your expected period, as that should give you a clear answer.
I understand the waiting is hard, and it's especially difficult when you see others testing early and getting results. Just try to distract yourself as much as possible. I would always keep tests out of the bathroom and go for my first wee of the day before I even had time to be tempted to test... that would mean I'd have to wait until at least the next day - just a little tip that might help! x

@MN86
As the previous poster said, you're testing way too early for concrete results. Stop taking tests until your period due date, that way you'll know for sure and can then get excited! X

Thank you, I know I’m doing everything they say to avoid. I just can’t help it 😔. I should know now after two years of trying. I’m going to try and stay busy and see what happens next week. I feel like cramps are coming which means AF will probably show up.

The two week wait is really hard, so I sympathise. But I think the ops are right.
Keeping everything crossed for you that you get your bfp soon.
