Has anyone had a wrong NIPT gender?

Obviously when you google you can find whatever you want! But I wanted to know if anyone recently has had a NiPt sex chromosome result which turned out wrong. I had NiPT and found out sex, and have just had 12 week scan and wondering whether I should tell people sex at same time or just wait until 20 week scan. I have 2 DS already and this is a DD apparently so I know everyone will be very excited but would rather not announce then have to backtrack!!

It was right for me (girl) but the hospital has had three woman who had NIPT fairly early and got a girl result for sex but it was just too early for the test to detect the Y chromosome and they were boys. Knowing this we told people it was probably a girl untill the 20 week scan.

I would say it is exceptionally rare for it to be wrong, especially if the lab has reported that the fetal fraction was high enough to be reported on.
