Hi :-)

Im sure i seen a post here the other day of someone asking about nursing bras but ive looked through and cant find it.

Any recommendations for nursing bra's please? I have quite a large back and small bust (pre pregnancy i was a 42B).
The site i looked at earlier did the sizes in small, med, large and XLarge) how ever i have no idea if thats referring to bust or back...
Would you not buy a nursing bra in your pre pregnancy size?

Thanks

I guess thats a bit of a stupid question really as alot of women, their boobs get bigger...
Clearly im clueless when it comes to bras!

Your breasts do get bigger throughout and after pregnancy. I’ve bought bravado ones and they are so comfortable. They have a size chart on their website too.

Measure yourself from boob or bust website. Don't buy proper nursing bras until after you've given birth.

I have a similar problem to you too (other way round). Have to get an actual size, the small, medium, large never fit (pre-pregnancy, I'm about 32/34 G, and 6 weeks postpartum last time I was 32 HH!!!!Blush). They went back down though after about 6 months of breastfeeding.

@Oneandabean this is the website i was looking at that did the sizes i said in original post... i couldnt see the size guide... i will have another look

@physicskate Should i just buy a cheap one for the first initial days then?

Check out boob or bust and they'll show you how to properly measure. I was wearing 38d and turns out I should have been in a 34e / f. Tried it and its so much more comfortable! Last pregnancy I went up to a 36 ff, and this time around I'm 21 weeks and in a 36 ff already so expect to be at least a g cup come birth. Stretchy crop top type bras are best at first as your size could fluctuate quite a bit.

Yes - or at least something that has flexible sizing!! Most come fairly stretchy, like the bravado one. Some aren't as flexible, like the ones that are most like 'real' t-shirt types...
