Positive test but had a period

I am on day 9 of my cycle and did an OPK on the off chance and was surprised it was positive (since breastfeeding I've not ovulated until late like day 20). I thought it was strange so I did a pregnancy test on the off chance and it's positive!

I don't understand how though as I had a fairly heavy period last week (no clots though). I haven't bled for a few days now so could something viable still be in there? Not sure what to do tbh. I think I'm only about 4 weeks so wouldn't see anything on a scan.

It couldn't be a false positive could it? The line is dark but kind of uneven..

Very unlikely to be a false positive. Could have been implantation or breakthrough bleeding though.

This is unmistakably a positive testp. While it's possible you had a chemical pregnancy and the hcg levels have yet to return to pre-pregnancy levels, plenty of women bleed in their pregnancy and carry baby to term. I think you are more likely to be pregnant than not. Good luck!

I'm excited but also terrified! We've been trying but the thought of another little one is very daunting!

Any update? I'm literally in the same position wondering what is going on. It's a horrid limbo.
