Faint line ? Help ?

yesterday there was nothing

There's a line, but it doesn't look pink. I'm sorry but it might be an evap line. I would test again in a few days

Going to test again tomorrow and keep an eye on it hopefully it will progress darker 🤞 10dpo is still early so hoping that's why it's so faint

The line was there after 3 mins.. can that still be an evaporation line ?

Just be careful I got caught out with the ‘very’ faint lines on these tests.

How many DPO are you? I’d say it needs to darken to this kinda level before you consider it positive. This was my 9dpo

I'm 10dpo today. Yesterday at 9dpo there was nothing.
I'll retest again tomorrow morning

It definitely looks like a line to me and I’d be super positive about their being a more defined line tomorrow but just don’t want your hopes going sky high like mine did.

Tbh I actually for my darkest lines on afternoons so if you have a spare test might be worth doing a cheeky one later today. X

I have plenty of spare tests 😂😂 oh really ! I thought the hcg was higher in the morning !

Keep to first morning, as that’s when it’s strongest you’re right, you’ll just be wasting tests if you use diluted urine. The hormone increases every 48 hours so try to wait a few days and do another, should have darkened by then. Definitely looks hopeful though

Maybe it’s just me. I have heard FMU is best but for me I’ve had stronger on an evening. The 6/10 am was much lighter at 3 minutes than the 5/10 and 6/10 pm tests.

@molsxox what about the clear blue test that says pregnant or not pregnant? It looks to me like you are though 👍🏼☺️

I have 2 clear blue digital tests. But I heard that they need a high level of hcg to work ?
My af isn't due till 20th so I was saving the digital to Friday or Saturday, do you think if I do one tomorrow at 11dpo it will work ?

@molsxox I was the same with my test in this pregnancy’s my husband said no line I though I seen a line so he went and got clear blue digital test that day and it said clear as day pregnant I was only like 8 days pregnant so should

Which clear blue did you use and how early before your af did you use it please ?
I have the clear blue digital early one and my af is due Sunday

@molsxox I used the clear blue the same day that I used the faint line test I was only about 8 days pregnant if you take the clear blue test tonight or in the morning it should work

They do require a higher level of hormone. I can’t recall quite how much but I know FRER need 6.3 whilst I’m sure CB digital isn’t far off 20.

In reality your hormone level if you are pregnant should double daily but that still means a digital tests needs approx 3 days after you get a positive on FRER. I got a negative in digital around 9dpo despite positives on FRER.

Personally (given they are so pricey) I’d wait until a day or two before your period at earliest. FRER are much more reliable at this stage.

Also it does say on FRER any line is a positive even if it’s faint. As long as it has some pink colour to it.

Maybe wait and see if aunt flow arrives then test again if not.
I didn’t mean to sound like a negative nelly with my first post but like I said, I’ve been caught out with ‘faint’ FRER lines and it’s a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. They need that pink colour to them to be reliable.

There's definitely a line in your first test so don't lose hope yet. Maybe wait and see (difficult I know!) and test at the weekend if no AF. 🤞🏻

I got caught out with the very faint line a few cycles ago 😖 then AF arrived I think some of them have indent lines before you use them which I now check. It definitely wasn't a false positive as there is no such thing but I think it's what the tests look like
