Hi! So I know I need to go to the doctor but that’s super tricky to do currently because of c-19; I have to isolate for 2 weeks so I can’t get a blood test at the mo.
Anyway,
I’m on cycle day 36, I don’t really know what day I ovulated as my partner and I aren’t necessarily trying, we’re just very much happy if it happens.
My periods are not clockwork but I’ve never been over a week late. And my only AF symptoms are bloating, migraines and cramps.
I am now 8 days late.
Here are the symptoms I have had this time around.
I had awful cramps that felt like stitch, these went on for around 3 weeks. This included a weird twinge in near my belly button maybe 4-5 times a day?
I have been uncomfortably bloated to the point it has woken me up at night.
The last week I have been getting tingling pains in my nibbles every now and then.
My ribs ache as if I’ve been doing lots of exercise.
I can smell things in the house that my partner can’t haha.

Anyway, I just wanted to know if anybody didn’t receive their bfp until later on? I test every other morning and I get nothing.

If you're testing negative at this stage then it's most likely that you're not pregnant, although it's not impossible that you are. It's most likely that your body has something else going on that's delayed your period slightly this month (/stress, virus, something that's shifted your hormones a little).

Most GP surgeries are doing telephone consultations, perhaps try calling to ask.

Quite honestly, you probably just ovulated later than normal. Or had an Anovulatory cycle. Both are super common even if not common for you.

Please see the gp if you miss a second period. All they will tell you to do is wait until then anyway, because as I said, this is super common.

Thank you :) it was the sore boobs that freaked me out as I’ve never had that with af!
