Hi!
I had a scan yesterday and I'm 6+1.
She said my sac looked small irregular and thin.
Heartbeat seen otherwise so I'm holding out hope it's all okay.
I've been staring at the scan all day, I can't help think there's something there?
She said she couldn't find the yolk sac to start with then said it was attached to babies head so I went from the 7 she thought (as she counted the sac in with the baby) so she put me at 6+1.
Am I going insane? I'm just so confused ! I have a re scan in 2 weeks!

At this stage things are so small and early that it is difficult to tell and being honest, yes it can go either way. I've had many many early scans but usually from 8 weeks only as that is the point at which you can be more certain of things. Any scans I've had earlier than that are always accompanied by sentences like, "can't see much" "a week or two will tell" "we know it's not ectopic at least" etc. It is possible to measure behind at this stage and still progress well. They are measuring something extremely tiny. Things in your favour are that a foetal pole exists and has a heart beat. Wait is now all you can do. I understand the agony of this period but being stressed doesn't change the outcome either way. It is what it is. I've been pregnant 7 times (lost 3) and this is definitely my last pregnancy, early pregnancy is so stressful I hate it.

Hi girls.
Scanned today, thick placenta and cystic spaces (she said black spots everywhere) not looking viable pregnancy best bet to wait until 12 weeks (5 weeks time...)
Unsure what to think.
She put me forward a week and now I'm even more confused x

Sorry to hear that, OP. Fingers crossed it all turns out OK.

Very strange advice given. 5 weeks is a long time to wait. Are you not being scanned again between now and 12 weeks?

Hi girls.
Unfortunately baby didn't have a heartbeat on 29/12 and I had a d&c 2 days ago.
I am absolutely heartbroken.
