I’ve found I’ve got a really good history of being correct at guessing the sex based on the 12 week scan. Whether that’s from an educated guess or plain luck. Having had 4 myself I know how exciting/intriguing it can be, whether you plan on finding out or not...

So I’m going to start a thread for people who want to post their scans and I’ll give it my best shot.

OF COURSE - I am not an expert and this is just for fun

I’d love it - as I’m sure other ladies will looking back - if you could update once you know!

I've had this thread bookmarked for weeks and I've finally had my 12 week scan this morning!

@Whilstwewait ah sorry about that. I’ve just looked back now and there was no clear nub and I wouldn’t like to take a guess unless I had something to base it on. Sorry again.

@PowPurry would you take a look at mine please (13+1)? It's a terrible photo as baby refused to cooperate so I'm not hopeful that you'll be able to see much though.

@SamoyedFan123 I’m wondering if that highlighted white but is the nub - if so I would say boy.

@Calmondeck thanks. It’s a combination really but more so the nub, yes. There is also another factor which is shown more in male foetuses. I have also got a few wrong, which is inevitable as again I’m not an expert. It depends on a lot of things - mainly the detail shown at the time the sonographer captures the photo. If what I am looking for is in said photos, I’m pretty confident in my guesses.

I do have another 12 week scan photo but for some reason baby is flipped the other way!
