Just want some positivity and hear stories of women who conceived whilst depressed, just fed up of half of google telling you mental health doesn't affect things and the half saying it does, I'm sure in reality women conceive whether they have mental health issues or not, I'm hoping its just a case of good egg meets good sperm and I'm still ovulating and having normal cycles. Just tell me your stories of hope please.

I lost my first pregnancy in September 2019 which was very hard and I did get depressed. We carried on trying from November and every month I didn’t get pregnant I’d be depressed again thinking that there was something wrong with me. But we got there in my feb-March 2020 cycle, so only a few months later :) So even though I was struggling with my mental health (it’s something I’ve had problems with for years anyway) we still conceived. Yes it is beneficial to be in the right frame of mind but low mood won’t necessarily stop you getting pregnant. If your cycles are still regular then that’s excellent. Mine actually weren’t after my MC, and I don’t know if it was down to a hormonal thing due to my mental health or a physical thing, but I still conceived!
How long ago did you miscarry? I know it’s an awful thing to go through but you will eventually feel better (not all the time, but more and more of the time) and there will be light at the end of the tunnel xx

I can try. After first mc it took us about 5 cycles to get pregnant again. I'm not sure if I was depressed but I was definitely down and anxious about not being able to conceive.

On our 5th try and we tried really hard I took a test the day before my period was due (cheap Amazon early conception test). Negative spend the 3 days crying before testing positive (tested too early).

So although we had a good outcome - I know mentally I was struggling.

Ill try too, with my first pregnancy it took 3 cycles to fall i was 19 then, but sadly lost at 6 weeks, tryed again time after time, getting stressed and depressed that it didnt happen, that it wasnt going to happebl, after 6 if not 7 months i had my son fine and hes healthy (hes now 13) when je was 4 we tryed again, fell atound 6 months later, but again lost that little bean top at 8+1, we both decided it was too much to go through and wouldnt try anymore,...then 9 years later decided to try again once last time as we could stop thinking about another child (im now 34) and was going to this time round just have sex every other day and if it happens it does, and have a relaxed frame of mind, after stopping the pill after 13 years, and became pregnant withing 6 weeks!! Im now 13+4 and everything going good, still worry sometimes, but it really is a strange and crazy world when ttc, let us know how you get on Flowers xx

It was the end of May, but I've tried taking anti depressants twice since May and both occasions they messed up my cycle so stopped, so i can't even take them, after trying 2 different ones thet both did the same thing aftet stopping them my cycles went straight back to normal again so I've missed 3 months worth of ttc as well which is annoying, thanks for you stories all reassuring I think people think they're being helpful when they say to relax, butbit just makes you more stressed x
