Last few days have been quite busy for me, I've done lots of walking and activities which have been tiring. Yesterday evening I had a burger and I was fine for a few hours, until I started vomiting it all back out. I must have vomited 3 or 4 different times and the last vomit I did, I felt my stomach go all hard. I've not had any bleeding or lasting pain, I've woken up fine and not had a similar feeling. I only felt it when I vomited twice last nice, it was quite a painful sickness which sent a sharp pain across my abdominal all the way into my Breasts, I'm only 9 weeks and I'm not sure if I should be worried, this Morning I feel better, just some back pain with the physical exertion from the last two days. I looked online and some people have said it could be Braxton hicks contractions, but I'm not sure if it would be normal to get that as early at 9 weeks, please let me know if anyone else has had similar experiences and if you think this is normal? Thank you xx

Hi OP! Congrats on your pregnancy!🎉

I have been being sick since 6 weeks and at around 8 weeks it got even worse and I was getting pains exactly like you described after being sick. I spoke to my midwife about it as I was worried and she explained that it's essentially your stomach 'siezing up' (for lack of a better word) as when you're sick a few times in a row like you are there's nothing left in your stomach to come up so your stomach is contracting when your body is trying to bring something up. She reassured me though that it was nothing to worry about.
If it was happening randomly and you hadn't been sick I'd maybe be a bit concerned but it's definitely normal after being sick.

I'm 17 weeks today and I'm still being sick 3/4 times a day and getting this pain!

Thank you so much for replying that's made me feel loads better. I had the same sickness problem to the point where I couldn't keep anything down me, I realised it was the vitamins that were making me puke so frequently so since I stopped them, my sickness has massively reduced.
