Feeling absolutely terrible this hopefully is my rainbow baby after 3 miscarriages this year. I'm 7 weeks and I have severe morning sickness. I am struggling to cope, pills don't work, drip normally works isn't tonight. I'm in hospital alone feeling really frightened that I won't cope with this. But I have too.

You will cope. You've got this. I know it's horrendous, but it won't last forever and when you get to hold your little one in your arms, it will all be worth it.

You will cope. I have HG too - 12+6 and have been hospitalised four times so far. It is beyond awful, and I really sympathise. I've had some really low moments but just remember that it will pass. Not huge comfort right now, but it will. Having said that, I'm lying in bed sobbing because I just feel so awful and am so exhausted with it. I had it in my last pregnancy too and I got through that one, so just tell yourself that you will get through it and at the end if it youll have your baby.
I also found it comforting when the doctors said the baby would be thriving and taking everything it needs from me (despite me not keeping anything down), and HG usually means a very healthy hormone count which is good for baby.
Hopefully they'll find a combination of meds that will work for you. After going through metaclopromide and cyclizine (neither worked) I was given a combo of cyclizine and ondansetron and whilst I am by no means on my feet again, it has taken the edge off slightly.
Try and get some sleep tonight - being tired does make it worse. Good luck xx
