I’m 10 weeks and 2 days pregnant
I went for a scan yesterday and everything looked healthy, there was a heartbeat. Today I’ve had a small amount of bright red stringy blood. Has anyone else experienced anything like this and the baby been fine?

It's common to have small amounts of bleeding in trimester 1. Your best bet is to call EPAU/EPS and ask them for their advice. If you have no further bleeding or cramping etc, it's likely fine

Also if your scan was transvaginal it may just be cervical irritation

I had this yesterday, a bit of blood and then some brown discharge today and now nothing .My body is feeling very much that it’s changing ! I am 14 weeks, and i can allready feel a bump! I can feel it stretching out, I am rather short so I think my short torso is responding to this haha 😆 Researching online it’s normal, but if you feel anxious do call your midwife no question is too small x

Hey, I had red bleeding a few times around 7 weeks - EPU diagnosed a subchorionic haematoma - all was fine x

They told me on My ultrasound there was a small hematoma. I’m hoping that’s what it is and there’s nothing wrong. EPAU are rescanning me tomorrow morning x
