I had a lovely 2nd Trimester where I was the most chilled and happy woman on the planet.

Now I hate the world.

What a pity the jolliness didn't last.

Anyone else suffering this?

i've been the opposite- i've been through phases of utter horribleness, to the point i wondered if i was depressed or would get PND.

i'm now feeling (mostly) quite cheery and excited. Had some really really dark days in 1st and 2nd though.

Hum. You're making me even more grumpy.

I think I'll scuttle off and hide under my rock for a bit with a cuppa.

I'm getting worried as the giving birth part approaches. Was also really happy and enrergetic in 2nd trimester....have occasional days of "I can't wait!" (especially when walking past the champagne section of the supermarker) but this is only short-lived.

piglet - yes I am v. grumpy at 33+6, can't be bothered to do anything, feel rubbish and am insanely jealous of dh having fun and doing exercise - how long have you got left?

Jbck · 22/10/2007 15:11

PM I've been very crabby the last few days or very weepy. DH and I were screaming at one another in the kitchen the other day then I realised that DD & her 2 wee friends were in her wee garden house & had heard us yelling. Made me angrier at him & sad for her because she'd heard us fighting. I've been not bad throughout, did have quite a weepy few last weeks but I'd had a bug then a headcold, then DH's friend's Mum died so it's been a bit stressful but I hadn't been in a bad mood & angry at the world. At the weekend I could have cheerfully smacked most of the other shoppers & road users out there for their lack of consideration.
I'm hoping it's cos I'm really in the final stages, 37 weeks plus. Hope you're nearly there & it gets better.

I'm 39+3 today and feel surprisingly chilled and unworried. Desperate to give birth now and get on with my life but all the nervousness seems to have gone, its got to happen so no use stressing about it. Of course I think if I left the house at this point I might well end up ripping someones ignorant head off - nearly did last week hence the decision to lock me in at home but here in my little nest with DH who's working at home and my gorgeous DS (who keeps spontaneously cuddling me) I'm a happy little bird waiting for my new chick to arrive

Suffering the same, but not even quite into the 3rd trimester yet. Permanently weepy and grumpy at the moment. I feel like I've been pregnant forever, but still have ages to go.

pigletmaker · 22/10/2007 21:13

I'm back.

I'm 33 wks now. And I've spent the best part of an hour searching online for a decent snowsuit that isn't made of wool or 100 polyester. When I do find one, its out of stock.

grump grump grumpity grump grump!

Oh my goodness that is so weird I too am fretting over snow suit I can't seem to find any nice ones I hate hate hate bright pink shiny flammable and the rediculous bear look I just want something subtle preferably in cord and pretty please please let me know if you find anything!!!

pigletmaker · 23/10/2007 08:10

I did find cord - on one of the nature's spririt type sites. If you run "organic" and "natural" through google for babywear you might hit it. Sorry not to have a specific site for you, I must have trawled through DOZENS.

Its the nesting instinct + the change of weather. We're programmed.

piglet - I'm 33 wks too - due on 11th December - when are you due? You should come and hang out in our antenatal group (Due in December...) - lots of moaning to be had over there...

pigletmaker · 23/10/2007 19:43

Will check out antenatal club online. Thanks
