Sudafed worried!

I've just developed a stinking cold and in my 2am haze I grabbed a Sudafed spray bottle and sprayed a squirt up each nostril for relief. It's just occurred to me that it's not ok for pregnancy, and have now terrified myself by googling. I'm 25 weeks today and baby is still gently kicking away. Is there anything I should do to get it out of my system or something? Terrified I've hurt my baby 😢

Don't panic just don't do it again. Nose spray much less bad than taking the tablets.

Apparently that drug xylo.... and in spray form is the least bad one for use in pregnancy. Sure it will be fine.

one time won't hurt. Don't beat yourself up about it. Use saline spray in future - sterimar is great

I took a shed load of Sudafed when I was pregnant before I realised. Doctor said dont worry it's not contraindicated (even though it says don't take in pregnancy on the box!) and DD is absolutely fine.

It's fine. Calm down

Thanks all. I'm generally pretty chilled out about this kind of thing and understand one time of something ill advised won't hurt, but reading about how it constricts blood vessels etc made me nervous. Feeling reassured now, thank you 😊
