im searching for baby wraps on amazon, but constantly questioning if they will fit, i am about a size 26 and 5'8.
Some people are like yeah it will fit fine, and others will say i might not, ive looked at the Moby, Boba, Ergo, Ama wraps, anyone have any experience and good suggestions? xx

I used a Kari me sling and have been a size 20 and there was always loads of extra material to spare. My DDs loved being in it and I'm so happy it is one of the few things we have kept hold of now I'm unexpectedly expecting DC4!

My massive husband wore our babies in a close caboo and an ergo baby so I can't see it being an issue.

Being tall also needs more fabric.
If you happened to have a long piece of string or ribbon, could you pretend it was a wrap, and tie it round you, then measure how long it needs to be (add a bit on, as the knot in the thicker fabric takes up quite a bit of length).
I'm your height, but a 14/16, and had to wrap the ends round my waist again to keep them short enough on a moby.

My 6 foot husband (big build too) carried ours in an amawrap and ergo carrier.

I'm no way involved in them but had great advice from lovetobenartural when I was trying to work out what sling would suit my second

not sure if they're operating due to covid but there are places called "sling libraries" where you can rent slings and go and try them on. Might be worth googling to see if there are any in your area?

Are you looking for stretchy or woven wraps? If the latter you would probably need a base 7 or 8.

staydazzling · 12/12/2020 11:52

Stretchy wraps im looking for @ThanksItHasPockets, thanks for the library suggestion @wimbler and everyone else.

OK - in which case I would recommend looking for one which is 5.5m at minimum, possibly 6m if you can find one or get one made.
