Unidentifiable Envelope - Boots Parenting Club

Hi all.
We've not long found out that I'm pregnant and I was on the Boots website browsing and thought i may as well join the Parenting Club whilst I was there. However, in my confirmation email it says they'll send out a welcome letter or email.

This panicked me because we haven't told anyone yet and I don't want anyone seeing me receiving an envelope with "Parenting Club" all over it! We live on a farm with the in-laws so our post is quite often delivered all in one go to one house, rather than divided up.
Up until today I also had my old home address listed on the Boots website, meaning that the post could potentially go to my parents house 🙈. I quickly changed the address to mine so hopefully the system will update.

I don't want to ruin the surprise for either of our parents! Could anyone please tell me if they usually email or post things? And does the envelope come with Parenting Club written on it?

I've had post and email correspondence with them - envelopes always said "Boots parenting club" in bold writing in the front corner so it's very identifiable.

When I joined they didn't send stuff out straight away so you may have a few weeks to tell them beforehand.

I'm afraid it does come in a pretty obvious letter. it's the same as the way they send their advantage card vouchers just with Parenting club branding instead. Sorry! is there a way you can intercept the post?!

cw84 · 11/12/2020 17:09

Thanks both. I think I'm going to have to intercept the post!
Arghh, I could've kicked myself as soon as i did it 😫

Log back on and see if you can request email only. Or, call them to cancel your membership and rejoin when you are ready Smile

You could just say it’s just generic spam mail

I joined when I wasn't pregnant so I could get 10 points per £1 on their photo products so you could just say that's why you signed up?

Thanks all. I think I'll use the photo points excuse if I get questioned! Much appreciate your help!
