Emergency stop at 17 weeks

Hey everyone,
I was driving and I had to do an emergency stop!
I'm so worried I've hurt the baby. I was jolted forward. All the shopping fell off the back seat.
Do you think I should call the midwife or am I being over the top?

If you’re D-negative (rhesus negative) you should call them as they might want to give you some antiD. But if your D-positive I don’t think there’s any purpose in contacting them. I know this is such an anxious time.

Baby will be fine, no need to contact the Midwife unless you actually have any signs something is wrong.

Ok then, Thankyou both!
