Anyone around?
Am getting very strong tightenings (which woke me up) but don't want to get too excited, not really that regular yet (am 40+4)

Given that it isn't a great time - I have 2 kids in bed asleep (and dh is also at the minute)

I think I just need to be distracted for a bit....

although with ds once waters popped I couldn't move (ended up with emergency home birth..)

is it worth waking dh.. or will he just flap?

I don't know...am 38 + 1 with first and was gettign v strng BH's yesterday, strong enough to have to concentrate on breathing while I was having them. But it's my first so I don't know whjat is strong BH's and what is early labour (tho everyone asssures me I'll KNOW when it's labour!).

How far apart are they? Does it feel like when you were in labour with your other two?

I'll be around all night as it's afternoon for me. Good luck!

Hi Unicorn, I was just going to bed but saw your message. How are you doing?

I was just wondering how long your labour with your DS took, if he ended with an emergency home birth. I had one of those too and although it was probably 5 hours from the first discomfort to the birth it really was a case of being too late once the contractions were definitely contractions and regular enough to consider going to hospital. If you were really quick last time I would consider phoning the hospital to see what they say.

Do you live far away from the hospital?

Good luck. I hope this is it and your wait is over.

Good call Unicorn. Hope that it isn't a false alarm - I bet it isn't though. You've done this before so I doubt you are wrong.

I hope everything goes smoothly - how exciting for you!

Congratulations unicorn, that was really quick. You can't have been in hospital long before your baby boy arrived! You did make it didn't you?

Let us know when you have a name.
