What now?!

Hello! :)

So I've just received a static smiley face on my digital clear blue ovulation test - and also a fairly dark line on a different IC OPK.

Sounds silly, but what now?! Obviously I know we need to DTD as much as possible.. but Will it be that I ovulate today, or in the coming days?

Just want to know what's the best course of action?

Thank you, I'm more wondering when ovulation will be after the first static smiley.. is it in the coming days or today?
My partner is working away tonight and tomorrow so just trying to work it all out!

Just have sex when you can and don't over think it.

Doesn’t the static face mean you are in your “peak” so for the next two days you are your most fertile?

You could ovulate in the next 48hrs. Definitely dtd at least once in that time.

I loved those opk’s it took the confusion out of when to dtd & made us feel like we were in control.

Yes peak identifies the most likely 48 hrs window for ovulation to occur. And you have roughly 12 hrs from ovulation to actually conceive. Most women ovulate in the evening, in general.

You should look up the sperm meets egg plan (it's a real thing) approach, to start having sex when you get flashing smiley and continue through until One day after 48 hour window.

So for this month you need to get on it sharpish.. you might get lucky. Next month start sooner.

You should ovulate within 12-36 hours of your static. There is a diagram/graph that shows you in the clear blue instructions. Good luck!

I'd also recommend a bit of pre-seed on static day - worked for me!

If you got the static smiley then ovulation is usually classed as the following day. If you got the static smiley in the evening then it's not the next day but the day after that.

Great thanks guys! Sorry for TMI! but the deed has been done this evening, got the static this evening so wanted to try before DO works away this evening and tomorrow evening.. 🤣🥴
