So trying for a baby and I ovulated as I've been taking ovulation strips
I'm
Due on period in 5 days and I have done an ovulation test again just because I've got so many and thought be curious to know the result
And it's come with 2 lines very light but just wondering what this means?

Ovulation strips don't confirm ovulation, just the hormone. A positive opk should be two equally dark lines, so light lines probably means negative.

If this isn't your month, really recommend tracking BBT, as that will confirm ovulation. And keep an eye on CM too.

Surely an ovulation stick shouldn't come up with any lines 5. Days before your period is due to start
I haven't taken a pregnancy test because it's to early

@lilyj13
It's not really a case of the lines being there or not, it's more analysing what day was the darkest line to point to ovulation.
My lines were pretty much visible leading up to period, but the darkest line I got was only about 24 hours during the ovulation stage.
It's handy to download an ovulation app and take photos, so you can go back and see what days are the darkness (although I'm sure you're already doing that!) x

OPKs are testing for LH and you usually have some LH in your body at any given time - it just peaks around ovulation and then falls again
