Scan at 10 weeks

Hi
I had a an early scan today at 9 weeks and 5days according to my last period date. The ultrasound picked up a very healthy placenta but couldn’t see anything in it. My doctor said I shouldn’t worry. He will rescan next week. He felt my dates were wrong. With my last pregnancy I went for a scan at 12 weeks and they said I was only measuring 10 weeks so redated my due date. Is this similar for anyone else? Thank you

I went in for an early scan last year at 7 weeks but only measured 5 weeks. Sac and yolk was there but nothing else inside it. Was told to come back 2 weeks later. They changed the appointment so ur was actually 3 weeks when I went back and the sac did have an embryo inside it. The sac had also gone from 7mm to 21mm. Unfortunately Baby didn't have a heartbeat and I had to wait a further 7-10 days. Also found out then I had a SCH a bleed from where the egg had buried in too hard but so not to be too concerned if I did start bleeding because it was more than likely just the clot that was dispersing. Was told it wasn't harmful for the Baby. I did start bleeding a few days later. Unfortunately for me even after 7 days there still wasn't a heartbeat and Baby was still measuring behind even though the gestational sac continued to grow. But they couldn't confirm a miscarriage for a further 2 weeks. I ended up in A&E a few days later where a scan the following day confirmed our loss and showed the sac had started collapsing. Ours was put down to choromosomal issues. Although I was in a minor bump so I'm not sure if that also contributed to it as well. I really wish you all the best for a safe and healthy Pregnancy
