Dull pains

Hi, I’m 5weeks 5days today and I’m experiencing really uncomfortable dull pains around my bladder and lower back.

I feel like when I go to the toilet and wipe the colour looks a bit off but not red.

Is this normal? This is my 3rd baby and I don’t remember anything like this with my first two.

That sounds a bit like when I had a UTI (pre-pregnancy). Definitely ring your midwife or GP, they can check if this is the case and get it treated.

@CaseyL20 I can't comment on the colour but I had dull pain in lower abdomen (between hip bones and below) and lower back from about 6 weeks to 12 weeks this PG - it took my breath away sometimes. Midwife kept telling me "it's normal, some women just feel pain from the uterus/womb growing". It got so bad at around 10 weeks that some days I was in tears from the pain. Same as another poster it turns out I had a UTI but they'd lost the results from my urine test. A week of antibiotics and the pain was gone. It came back again about 3 weeks ago - sure enough I have another UTI (now 23 weeks). Might not be that but worth getting checked. I've never had any of the other UTI symptoms.
