4th time pregnant after 3 miscarriages

Hi all.

I suppose I'm just looking for some reassurance and support.

I have had 3 miscarriages between July 2019 and my last one was the end of October this year 2020. I bled on the 1st November and didn't have a period between finding out I was pregnant again so quickly!

I'm now on progesterone suppositories and baby Aspirin. I'm 5 weeks tomorrow but just simply don't feel pregnant and this on top of having 3 miscarriages is making me super nervous and anxious. I have an early scan but not until a few days before Xmas day.

So I'm really worried if it doesn't make it what an awful Christmas it'll be too.

Did anyone else not feel pregnant but still had a good outcome. All my tests are progressing, I'm 20dpo today, had a dye stealer on FRER at 16dpo and today my cheapies are the same colours. Also had my hcg done Friday but won't know until Monday.

Hi I’m so sorry for your losses! I’ve had 3 recurrent miscarriage this year and am currently 6 weeks pregnant. Hoping this is our take home baby. I’m also on progesterone and aspirin too! I haven’t got many symptoms and the symptoms I do have I worry are down to the progesterone- sore boobs constipated etc. I have an early scan Monday at my early pregnancy unit. I rang them and told them I’d had 3 miscarriages and was pregnant again and they booked me straight in. Are you able to do this? I’m worried about miscarrying over Christmas too! Please don’t worry about symptoms or feeling pregnant, my last miscarriage I had all the symptoms even after we found out the baby’s heartbeat had stopped. Fingers crossed 2021 will be the year we both bring our babies home!

Sorry for your losses too. Oh wow. We're identical! I'm on progesterone and aspirin as precaution. They don't actually know why I've miscarried. And yes!! When my boobs feel heavy or sore I think progesterone... Also like you say constipation. I often think... Is this me or the progesterone kicking in. I can book into epu, they'll scan me straight away. I'm just very nervous and not sure when to go. As if I do go and there's no heartbeat and it's too early I'll be super stressed... Even though I am now. I hope your scan goes well. I'm sure it will!

@Lov3my2 how are you feeling? I had an early scan today at my EPU and so far so good I thought I was 6w2d but measuring 6 weeks behind. We saw a strong heartbeat though made me feel a little bit better. We’ve booked a scan for the 27th of December now I didn’t want one before Christmas just incase x

I’ve just gone through my third mc a few weeks ago. The Dr said they can get us tested now as we have had 3 recurrent in an 18 month period.
Did either of you have tests ? As I see you are both on some medications.
Thank you and I wish you both all the best and hope you get your babies this time.
Right now I can’t even think about being pregnant again. I am a mess and just dragging myself out of bed is hard enough. I haven’t left my home since the operation 2 weeks ago. I just no longer feel that it is healthy for me mentally to think about having children.

@Sallyjo27 oh that's amazing! That's so good to hear. I have my scan on the 17th December. I'll be 6 weeks 4days. Had my betas done. 19dpo it was 2,020 23dpo it was 11,156! Hoping that's ok. Going to ask on another thread to see others views. Still have no symtoms really 🤷‍♀️.

@Confused38 I'm so sorry about your miscarriage. It's horrid, I hope you have lots of support. When I had mine I went private as I couldn't wait. I paid for a consultation and a package, including, scans, bloods including clotting factors, sperm etc. The only thing they picked up on was my thyroid was low and they put me on levothyroxine. Within 3 weeks of being on it I caught but lost it. But my thyroid was still a high reading. Now I've managed to get it below 2.5 from 3.7. Then she told me to start taking baby aspirin. 75mg daily, as its a preventative measure and won't do any harm. Also she put me on progesterone suppositories just to keep my lining mice and thick. I hope you get some answers. It's an awful time, sending lots of hugs.
