Pain in lower stomach

I’m 9 weeks pregnant and for the past 2 days I’ve had a sharp pain when I move in my lower right abdomen. It only hurts when I sit up or cough or am sick. It almost feels like a pulled muscle, but I don’t know if there’s even any muscles there to pull? Should I get this checked out, or does anyone have any similar experiences? Xx

I've had that, particularly when coughing and sneezing. I think it's just everything stretching to accommodate the growing uterus. I'm 14 weeks now, and can definitely still feel it.

Same. It's stretching pain.
When i am about to cough or sneeze i brace myself and make sure i am a bit curled up like a ball. It helps.
Then i give it a few seconds before moving...
Sit and stand up slowly, might also helps.

I remember getting pains shooting down my vagina when I was pregnant, they really hurt, but it was just stretching.

@Emalex96 this is known as round ligament pain - look it up :) it's just from everything stretching, it's the ligaments stretching and pinging back suddenly. I'm only 6 weeks and am getting it from time to time when I stand up or turn in bed, and when I sneeze! x

Thanks, I didn’t think round ligament pain started this early, it was just a tad concerned. I feel a bit less anxious now xx
