Wwyd....movements

33 and half weeks.....was at triage yesterday for a mix of headache, reduced movements and just general feeling crappy- turns out I have a urine infection and while I didn't feel baby move, I could hear him move on the monitor (anterior placenta too)

Last night he moved a bit more normal so I was happy, then from getting up this morning I haven't actually felt him, when first got up I got breakfast for my toddler and then we had 5 minutes outside because it was snowing, after that we sat and watched a bit of TV and I had breakfast and nothing noted, then we got ready to go out and was out of the house at 10am till 1pm

Once home we had lunch and I realised I still hadn't felt him move so this afternoon I put cartoons on for toddler and sat and really tried to pay attention to movements, nothing so had cold drink and sugary food and nothing 🤦‍♀️

Now if I hadn't of been in yesterday I would totally be calling up but I'm worried they will be fed up because I was only there yesterday, I'm worried I'm thinking too much into the movements 🤦‍♀️

Call to go in, definitely.

Sanch1 · 04/12/2020 16:34

Call and go in!

Gunpowder · 04/12/2020 16:34

I’d definitely go in. It’s one of those things where if everything is fine you won’t even remember this day in a years time. If things aren’t fine you will always remember it. No one will be fed up. If they are fed up they are in the wrong job.

Thatwentbadly · 04/12/2020 16:36

Go in. Don’t mess around and wait. Go now.

Kettlingur · 04/12/2020 16:37

Go in.

WhyNotMeThough · 04/12/2020 16:37

You are the one expert on your baby's movements. Call right now OP, they won't refuse to see you. Everything will be fine, but just in case, a call right now will make all the difference. Sending love to you.

3rdtimelucky2019 · 04/12/2020 16:40

They'd rather you go every single day if it means baby is fine. They don't care how many times you present.

EllieJai44 · 04/12/2020 16:41

I know they won't refuse to see me, its just more of a thing of I was in yesterday and all was fine, plus this would be like 7th time of going in for movements and I don't want to seem like an over worrier, even though I probably am 🤦‍♀️ I wish I could ring for advice but they straight away say come in

That’s because you have reduced movement and the only way they know if your baby is OK is to monitor your baby.

NatalieH2220 · 04/12/2020 16:44

Definitely call them. Doesn't matter that you only went in yesterday. Always best to be checked out if you are worried.

wimbler · 04/12/2020 16:45

There is no such thing as over worrying when it comes to your baby. The midwives would always rather you go in every single time and it turn out to be nothing.

tigger001 · 04/12/2020 16:47

Yes, definitely go in.

Aquicknamechange2019 · 04/12/2020 16:51

Please go in.

grandmasterstitch · 04/12/2020 19:24

I have an anterior placenta and my midwife said to go in every time even though it'll probably be more often than when I had an anterior placenta. She said always always get checked

Gunpowder · 06/12/2020 16:48

Did you go in to be checked in the end EllieJai? I hope so and that everything was fine.
