Pressure low down and period pains? Normal?

FTM here so don't really know if this is normal or not. 23 weeks tomorrow.

Went for a walk earlier and was quite uncomfortable almost painful bump (never happened).
Then at home at some periods type dull ache low down and lower back pain suddenly. I went to lie down and it settled. Baby was kicking a lot very very low down in the pubic area.
Now still feeling pressure low down and some tightening, can't really explain the feeling.

Obviously a little worried as i haven't felt anything like this before.

Is it normal? Should i be more concerned?😕

I would call your midwife for advice, especially being so early. Don’t panic though, weird things do happen in pregnancy and it’s good that you have good movements but I think you should get some proper medical advice.

Thanks for your replies!
By the time she called back the pressure went away and so did the tightening (so felt a bit silly taking up her time).
She did tell me if it happens again and doesn't improve lying down to go to the hospital to get checked especially if it's period pains, so glad i called in a way.
She suspects this time was baby very low and moving in a way that was "irritating" my uterus.
I still have regular good movements and higher up now so it was probably just that...

But thanks for the advice, i feel reassured now that i have spoken to her 😊
