Ladies, I literally cannot stop drinking water and diluting juice! I’m so thirsty all the time!!! Admittedly, I never used to drink the recommended amount before I got pregnant so I’m like what is going on! I can’t get enough! Anyone else experiencing this? I even go out to Asda and half way round I’m thirsty again!!

I had this with my pregnancy with my little boy. It eases off eventually. Your body is making a lot more blood so you need the hydration. I even mentioned it to the midwife and they were unconcerned early on.

I had this when pregnant. I mainly drank water. I just carried a water bottle with me. If you prefer squash you can get those little travel size ones to bring with you and add to water.

I never drank my daily amount either and during this pregnancy omg i am constantly drinking. My sons diluted juice is disapearing by the second and the amount of glasses i go through is awful. But my body clearly needs it and it cant be bad being hydrated. Im 17 weeks now and i do feel it easing.

Have you been tested for diabetes? I would speak to your GP just incase!

Haha thanks ladies! At least I’m not the only one! Thanks for the tip @NerdyBird I will see if I can get one of those for my handbag!

@DiabeticFirstBaby I will mention it to the nurse at my first appointment just incase, thanks!

I had this too, it eased off around 11-weeks. I think I was genuinely dehydrated as my skin was also mega dry for the whole first trimester.
