Hi everyone,

I'm 8 weeks with my first baby and very excited ! Since the 4 week mark I've been struggling with sickness. It affects me all day everyday so its not just the morning. Sometimes I'm sick other times I just feel nauseous. Its really getting me down.
I feel so lazy at the minute because I just don't have the energy to do even the smallest things such as wash a few pots. My poor boyfriend is having to do everything and I feel so guilty.
Im a student nurse and haven't been into placement properly for the past 2 weeks just because I've felt so rubbish. The anti sickness bands arrived today but so far they really haven't helped.
Please tell me im not the only one feeling like this ? I feel like im neglecting my house and my partner and my dogs because I just don't have the energy and this sickness is really getting me down. :(

You are not alone!
I'm 13w5 and although it's improved from the earlier days , I still have no energy to do much ,
Attempting to entertain a toddler is also proving difficult

But hoping it will gradually improve !

You are not alone!!

I'm also 8 weeks with my first. For the last 3 weeks I've been vomiting lots and have pretty much constant nausea. Partner is definitely doing 99% of the cooking/cleaning/literally everything.

I hope things improve for you soon! Smile

Growing humans is so hard!

Be kind to yourself and rest and eat and rest again as much as you can, zero guilt if you have a partner willing to help that's great, let them help!!

Your hormones, body everything is in shock and working on the pregnancy, and building a brand new person.

Thanks guys. Helps to know im not the only one.
I think my partner struggles to understand what's going on too. He has 0 empathy honestly.
Hoping when I get to the 2nd trimester it will get easier!!

Your story is literally the same as mine! Although this is my second pregnancy and I seem to have the morning sickness a lot earlier this time.
You just have to rest and look after yourself and baby.
Xx
