I'm 5 weeks ➕ 3 today. I had an internal scan. Nothing was found in uterus or fallopian tube. My HCG is 2330 . Is this normal to not see anything ? I'm so worried.

It’s pretty normal to not see anything at 4/5 weeks. You also could have ovulated late and might not quite be 5w3.

Is there a reason you were scanned so early? That did the sonographer/ doctor say?

It’s rare to be scanned that early for exactly that reason. Are you having your bloods repeated in 48 hours?

I was scanned early as I have had an ectopic and 2 miscarriages. Im having bloods repeated on Saturday morning. Sonographer said something should be visible by now which is why I'm worried.

If you look at previous post on here almost people don’t see anything on a scan that early. I’m very surprised a sonographer would tell you they should see something by now

You do usually expect to see something from the amount of hcg you have but it’s not guaranteed. It’s a reasonable hcg level for your dates though. I don’t think it was fair of the sonograoher to say that to you because now you are worrying, quite possibly completely unnecessarily.

HCG was checked again and has risen from 2330 to 4080 . Have another scan on Thursday so hopefully will see a little bean.

I know this is sometime ago x but how was your second scan?
