Hi

I read the nhs website and it says to avoid meats like chorizo as they are raw. Then I read an article on mumsnet that said you can if it’s cooked. If I’m making jambalaya and the chorizo is simmering with the rice for 30-45 mins is this considered cooked or should I just stay clear of it altogether.

I’m sure it will be fine - it will be well cooked so won’t do you any harm!

That will cook the chorizo completely, enjoy!!

You can eat it cooked, it'll be fine.
