What old wives tales have you heard regarding the sex of a baby during pregnancy.

I’ve heard if you’re craving sweet things all the time, you’re having a girl. All I can stomach just now is yoghurts and chocolate so it will be interesting to see if this theory has been true for me 😂

There’s so many of them, some say I’m having a boy and others say girl. So I’m definitely having one of them 😂

I've never heard that one but I am having a boy (multiple confirmations) and all I'm in the mood for is anything sweet! I was told minimal/no morning sickness means boy which was true for me but my best friend who is 12 weeks behind me had terrible morning sickness and she is also having a boy. When will you find out what you are having? X

Would we class prawn cocktail crisps as sweet or savoury... as they are kind of sweet, but a crisp all the same 😂

Apparently if your partner gains weight during your pregnancy, you’re having a boy... so now I’m confused as one theory says boy, one says girl 😂

Oh, I haven’t heard that one!! I haven’t been sick once (thank the lord) but have been very nauseous.

Not sex related but I had awful heartburn in all my pregnancies and they have all been totally bald.

I had no sickness with 1-3 all girls and was sick with 4 and 5. 4 is a boy, 5 only 12wks.

So far none of these theories seem to be holding up, lol.

I heard if you suffer with acne when pregnant it means you're having a girl as she's stealing your good looks 😆

Wasn't right for me though. I've had bad skin through this pregnancy and I'm having a boy! X

I had awful nausea until week 15 and all I've craved since week 20 is chocolate and more chocolate - I'm now nearly 29 weeks and chocolate is high on my radar! And I'm more a savoury person too. I was told these were all signals of having a girl.

I have had two scans confirming I'm having a little boy 🤍

@TallulahTaboo Aw, yay! I like hearing all these theories debunked! I cannot wait to find out what I’m having but I’m also debating waiting for the birth.

I used to read into them but given that my second pregnancy couldn't have been more different to my first and they're both boys, I now don't believe any of them! Cravings in particular have been so different. First pregnancy I wanted meat and cheese, lots of orange juice and carbs. This time round, pastries, chocolate, sweets and sour things. I've also had bad sickness this time round too, which again would 'indicate' a girl.
